Tell A Story
App 3D Animation
How We Make it:
Making a 3D short animation can be a challenging but rewarding experience. This is how we make 3D short animation step-by-step:
01
Storyboard
We start with making a Storyboard based on client script. This helps us to plan the shots, the timing, and the movement of the characters.
02
Design character
Here we make a 3D sculpting for the characters. This is done using 3D sculpting ZBrush software.
03
Retopology
Here we make a retopology to create a new, lower-poly mesh from an existing, higher-poly mesh. This is done to reduce the number of polygons in the mesh, which can make it easier to animate and render.
04
Rigging
Here we make Rigging to add a skeleton to a 3D model. This allows the animator to control the movement of the character's limbs and joints.
05
Particles Animation
We add star particles to add visual interest in the galaxy and realism to the animation.
06
Clothes Simulation
Here we make clothes simulations to create characters wearing clothes that look and move like real clothes. This can help to make the animation more immersive.
07
Character Animation
Making character animation is the process of creating a movement for a character. This is done by manipulating the character's skeleton and joints.
08
Lighting & Rendering
Here we add lights and make a rendering to create a sequence of images to make animations that are visually appealing. This can help to make the animation more engaging and enjoyable for the audience.
The amount of time it takes to make a 3D short animation depends on a number of factors, such as the complexity of your animation, the software you are using, and your experience level. However, a typical 3D short animation can take anywhere from few weeks to several months to complete.
